Our dog, Betty White (White Boxer) began having seizures a year and a half ago. It ended up that she was having bubble gum seizures every 3.5 hours on the nose. After ALL of the tests were done, including a spinal tap… it is epilepsy. Betty has liver disease also. She is now on a controlled by a compound 2 x a day, the compound is special and it is Sodium Bromide. She is happy and very much loved!

I'm glad to hear that Betty White Wright is doing well on Sodium Bromide! I am very curious to know what a “bubble gum” seizure on the nose is. I have never heard of that kind of seizure before. In the video, the doctor mentions that liver disease can cause seizures as well as epilepsy. How was your vet able to rule out the liver disease as the cause of Betty's seizures?
